I embarked on a real Adventure! I've never been much of one for lotteries,
and I tend to think of the process of breaking into published print as one of
the bigger lotteries. So I've decided to try to publish this book myself.
To that end, I've had it printed (5 1/2" by 8 1/2", less trimming)
and bound (in shiny blue cover stock,
with the cover printed in shiny gold letters).
It's 256 pages of sheer enjoyment, IMHO.
I'm not a Fortune 500 company, nor even a Fortune 500 executive,
nor any remote equivalent, which means my means are pretty limited. Want one?

It has now been a few years since I published my first. I have sold some
copies; I still have a good number in stock. Yet I feel it to be of primary
importance that the story be available. Therefore, I have chosen to release it
in web page form. It's now the whole novel -- not merely teasers. I still
welcome any orders for the paper copies in case you'd rather curl up with it
in bed or in your favorite easy chair.
Please note that my works are still
copyrighted, which means they are still not in the public domain. In other
words, I am releasing this, in this manner, to the extent and for the purpose
that individual people may enjoy it, not publish it "for me." If you think
it'll sell, great -- but you're going to need my permission to try it.
